Investigate
to Court Prep.

One path from a financial question to reviewed records and a prepared exhibit packet. Investigate has two tabs — Start & reports and Findings. Court Prep is a separate module.

Existing plan prices, feature access and AI-credit charges are unchanged.
Preparing exact cited records uses no additional AI credits.
A prepared observation does not establish the original AI allegation or guarantee court acceptance.
Part 1 · Investigate

Run a report and
review its findings.

Everything here happens inside Investigate. The output is a reviewed finding, saved as an exhibit in a packet, with its supporting records attached.

  1. Start a focused AI report

Open Investigate → Start & reports. Choose Start AI investigation to select the people or businesses, records, period and concerns, then review the scope and run the report. The wizard shows the existing credit requirement before anything runs.

  2. Let structured checks run

Automatic forensic checks run as parsed case records change. Run rules-based analysis creates a saved rules-only report when your tier includes it; it does not spend AI credits.

  3. Open a saved report

From a saved report you can Rename it or Download PDF. To prepare its AI findings together, choose Prepare findings for exhibits, then Review finding beside each result.

  4. Work the Findings queue

In Findings, choose Needs review or Reviewed. Filter by AI Red Flag findings or Structured findings, then by spouses, businesses or individual names. Critical findings is a filter under Reviewed.

  5. Read the finding in context

Read the title and observation, then choose Review finding. Appears in N reports opens the reports containing the finding; the original documents and transactions are inside the finding review.

  6. Prepare the finding for an exhibit

For an individual AI finding, choose Prepare for exhibit. Thrive resolves the exact cited bank and payment-app rows and checks matched business and personal transfer entries. A factual schedule or transfer observation becomes Ready for your approval.

The original AI claim remains separately visible and is not established by this step.

  7. Resolve a preparation gap

If preparation cannot identify exact rows, read the specific explanation. Correct a missing reference, account owner or parsed value in the source record, or run a focused report with the correct records.

Document-only, income-comparison and narrative claims need their appropriate supported comparison or professional review. Thrive does not guess supporting transactions.

  8. Check the original files

Read the original files and the retained page and transaction references. Close the source to return to the same finding. Individual source decisions are optional and do not substitute for approval of the overall finding.

  9. Complete the review

In novice mode, choose Relevant — complete review, then Complete review. Professional views offer Confirmed or Qualified with a limitation note. Not relevant / Rejected sets the item aside; follow-up decisions stay in Needs review.

A positive completed review moves the finding to Reviewed and marks it Ready for an exhibit.

  10. Build the exhibit

Choose Build the exhibit. Select the finding-specific visual, cited transaction table or source documents, and keep the supporting records attached. Choose an editable packet or create a new one, check its label and description, then save. Wait for Exhibit created and the packet name.

  11. Continue in Court Prep

Open Court Prep to finish the packet and export it. Preparation checks use no AI credits and do not change plan pricing or feature access. If the cited data changes, prepare and approve the current result again.

Part 2 · Court Prep

Complete and
download the packet.

Court Prep keeps exhibit labels, original records, permanent page numbers and export checks together. Saving never downloads files; export is a separate, deliberate action.

  1. Open or create the packet

Open Court Prep in the sidebar, or follow the saved exhibit into its packet from Investigate. If you are starting here, create a packet and enter its name, proceeding, submitting party and case details.

  2. Choose what you are presenting

Under What are you presenting?, add a Thrive chart or report, uploaded material, selected transactions or source documents. Choose the content first; the matching builder and supporting-record controls appear next.

  3. Verify the sources behind the exhibit

For a finding exhibit, review the saved visual or transaction table and its automatically attached records. For a live Dashboard or Data Analysis card, use the chart picker and select the exact card, then verify the proposed source records.

  4. Check the label and description

A label names an exhibit in this proceeding. Bates numbers are permanent page addresses on the original source PDFs. They are different identifiers and never derive from one another.

  5. Number the PDFs before download

Use Number N PDFs before download for selected PDFs without locked Bates ranges. Review the source identity, order and numbering. Numbering in Court Prep saves the ranges; it does not download the exhibit.

  6. Save, then export

Save the packet. Saving an exhibit or editing its transaction selection does not download files. Review and export / Download this exhibit performs the actual export; a transaction exhibit includes matching PDF and Excel tables. Download checklist exports only the packet index.

  7. Mark the packet Ready, then Filed

Mark the packet Ready when all required details and source numbering are complete. Changes to a Ready packet return it to Draft. Mark Filed / used only after using that exact packet; used packets cannot be edited. Create a new packet for a later proceeding.

  8. Check the download before you file

Check the downloaded exhibit, original records, citations and any required redactions or filing instructions. Ready is an application preparation state, not a ruling that a court will admit the material.

When preparation needs more work

A document citation can identify a file without identifying the transactions behind a claim. Thrive prepares exact cited bank and payment-app schedules and supported matched-transfer observations. It keeps document-only, ledger-only and narrative claims open when the relevant supported comparison is unavailable. The finding explains the specific gap; no unrelated sources are substituted.

Prepare and approve again after cited data changes. Preserve originals and review local filing and evidence requirements before submitting any packet.
