Thrive Incident Logger

This privacy policy explains how the Thrive Incident Logger mobile app (the “App”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information. It applies to the iOS and Android versions of the App and any related services provided by Thrive Financial.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to deliver, secure, and improve the App:

  • Account details. Name, email, and authentication information you provide when creating or accessing your account.
  • Incident records. Text entries, categories, tags, timestamps, attachments (photos, files, audio), and optional location metadata you choose to add.
  • Device and diagnostics. Device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and performance data to troubleshoot and keep the service reliable.
  • Usage insights. Aggregated, de-identified analytics about feature adoption to improve usability and stability.

How We Use Information

Your data powers the App and is never sold for advertising.

  • Provide the core service: create, sync, search, and export your incident logs and attachments.
  • Maintain integrity: preserve timestamps and change history to support defensible records.
  • Secure the platform: monitor for abuse, prevent fraud, and detect suspicious access.
  • Support you: respond to requests, debug issues, and ship fixes or enhancements.
  • Improve the product: analyze de-identified trends to refine workflows, performance, and reliability.
  • Comply with law: meet legal obligations and enforce our terms when required.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your data or allow third-party advertising inside the App.

  • Service providers. Cloud hosting, storage, security monitoring, email delivery, and analytics vendors that process data under contract and only for our instructions.
  • You choose to share. When you export or send logs to attorneys, partners, or collaborators, you control the recipients and timing.
  • Legal compliance. If required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.

Device Permissions

We request permissions only when needed for features you use:

  • Camera & photos/files. Attach evidence such as images, videos, and documents to your incident entries.
  • Microphone (optional). Capture audio notes or interviews as part of an entry.
  • Location (optional). Add location context to an incident; stored only when you choose to include it.
  • Notifications (optional). Reminders and status updates you enable in settings.

Security & Retention

  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-limited and audited.
  • Backups are time-bound and used only for resilience and disaster recovery.
  • Incident content is kept while your account remains active. You can delete entries or request account deletion; some security logs may be retained as permitted by law.
  • We regularly review vendors, apply least-privilege access, and monitor for unusual activity.

Your Choices & Rights

  • View, edit, and delete incident entries and attachments directly in the App.
  • Export records (e.g., PDF or CSV) to share with trusted recipients.
  • Control optional permissions (camera, microphone, location, notifications) in your device settings.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting us. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
  • The App is not intended for children under 16. Do not submit sensitive health data unless necessary for your record.

International Use

The App is operated from the United States. If you access it from other regions, you consent to transferring and processing your information in the U.S. We apply the same safeguards regardless of where you use the App.
